Gray Water
Systems : Brac Systems
What are my savings?
Brac systems can help you save 35% to 40% on your annual water bill,
and while saving money, you will also help save the environment and
provide a better future for our children and their children to come.
With this amount of savings, your Brac Greywater Recycling System pays
itself.
How does the system work?
If you take into account that approximately one third of your water
(and of your water tax money) goes down the toilet, wouldn’t it
be a good idea to do something about it?
The Brac System is the solution. It is composed of patented,
state-of-the-art components that filter used water from your shower,
bath and laundry(*), and then reuses it for your toilet’s
evacuation system.
- The recycled water, which we will refer to as grey water, is
strictly used for your toilet or for irrigation, and cannot get in your
drinking-water system.
- Foreign particles are filtered, so it is like using normal water,
but without having to pay again, while also doing something effective
for the environment.
- Furthermore, once integrated into your existing plumbing, the
system operates seamlessly, so the only difference you will notice is
on your water bill.
Brac Systems are guaranteed for 2 years world wide.
(*) Inquire with your local plumbing authority for permited attached
devices.
Brac Systems LB-300
The LB-300 was perfectly designed to fit into homes that are built with
crawlspaces. The total height of the LB-300 is only 27", so a
crawlspace with a code minimum of 24" in depth would be able to accept
the "lowboy" model from Brac Systems, as long as access from the floor
above is provided. The storage capacity of the LB-300 is 300 litres (78
US Gal.) which comprises of main and secondary tanks that are easily
manouvered into place and connected together with supplied pipe and
fittings. A chlorination circuit will circulate the water through the
tanks keeping the stored water disinfected and ready for safe reuse.
The LB-300 also features a new style pleated filter cartridge for
better flow rates and ease
of cleaning. This model is the perfect solution for homes with families
of 4-6 people. Not only will you be saving money on your water bill,
but you will also be reducing your household water consumption by up to
a third, thus helping to conserve our most precious natural resource.

The Brac Systems Sump and Pump Kit
Because the BRAC system relies on gravity for greywater to drain from
your bath or shower into the inlet of the Brac System, owners with
single level homes on a slab foundation (or other single-level
structures) require this kit to pump the greywater up to the inlet of
the Brac System. The sump is installed in the foundation or floor,
below the level of the lowest drain you intend to capture greywater
from. As greywater collects in the sump, a float-activated sump pump
elevates the greywater to the inlet of the Brac System. Standard
Plumbing Codes will permit a maximum of four (4) tubs/showers to be
drained through the 2" inlet port of the sump basin. Kit includes tank,
lid, sump pump, pump manual, and two-year warranty.
